Mirrors

The film focuses on the character Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland), who begins work as a night watchman in abandoned and destroyed in a fire in a shop Mayflower. First night, Ben discovers that the mirror in which the building is from the collection, create a different, terrible reality. Initially, all reasonable attempts to explain himself, however, when receiving a shipment of suicide, which was the guardian of the Mayflower before him, he begins to believe that all this stands for something more than fatigue, imagination and encouraged by the shadows of darkness and strong antydepresanty.
Already the first 3 minutes “Luster” bring the viewer in a mood of uncertainty and anxiety. Starting a movie “with a thick tube” is a fairly risky surgery, because the viewer, whose attention is in such a way towed , automatically sets the bar high, and hopes that the film will be the same as in the beginning. In my view, the producers managed to maintain a constant level. Disturbing sounds, the dark przetykane light torches and mirrors create the title nervous mood and stay in tension.
Many times I arise from the combination of horror story “The Ring”. The protagonist must unravel the mystery, carry some kind of investigation, find the person named by mordercze mirrors, to prevent a painful death of his family. Searching for information in newspapers and archives, watching recordings of the hearing the patient’s psychiatric hospital, visit the old house on the farm, conversation with a member of the family wanted a woman … All of this is not very original, but adds the desired shudder emotions and introduces the mood not quiet waiting to know the truth. The viewer, in addition to fear, feel the feverish curiosity, which increases during the subsequent discovery of cards puzzles. To the implementation of the “investigation” thread is pretty trivial, but out Lustrom “for good. In contrast to another, oklepanego recital many horrorów, namely the form of a small boy, who not only lies with the main evil, but even with him to make and takes after him.
The end of the movie, this is the final duel between the main protagonists and Incarnate evil was rather funny than frightening. Here is a mere mortal is confronted with the Beelzebub of the reins, and his weapon is loved by all police gun. Clarification puzzles me disappointed. Hoping to combat any fault on the mysterious and interesting phenomenon paranormalne, but not so very not of this world, not so very … Fortunately, when this grotesque fight at the end we get head and tuck. Yes, the movie powala on his knees and compensate the profession obsolete.
Despite several oklepanych themes and a few annoying, “Mirrors” in the role of horror seems to quite good. It is difficult today for a good, grisly horror, and therefore appreciate any film that although some or even for a moment przestraszy me. That is why we recommend “Mirrors”, which are likely to satisfy even demanding fan of horror.
